Terms of Use
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Tucked when you use the Tucked website and apps. We've kept them short and readable. By creating an account or using Tucked, you agree to them.
Using Tucked
Tucked is a personal budgeting tool for your own, non-commercial use. You need to be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use it. Tucked's budgeting features are free.
Paid option: Bank Connect
Connecting your bank or credit card (coming soon) is optional and costs $4.99 CAD a month. It covers what our bank-connection provider, Plaid, charges us; we don't make a profit on it. You can cancel at any time and keep using Tucked's free features. The price and billing details will be shown clearly before you subscribe.
Your account
Give a real email address and keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account, so let us know at hello@tucked.ca if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your content
Everything you log in Tucked belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run Tucked for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you choose to keep your data on your iPhone only, we never receive it.
Not financial advice
Tucked helps you organise and understand your own numbers. Forecasts, reminders and other estimates are based on what you've entered and may be wrong. Tucked isn't financial, tax, legal or investment advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.
Acceptable use
- Don't try to access other people's accounts or data.
- Don't interfere with, overload, or try to break Tucked or its security.
- Don't use Tucked for anything illegal, or to store content you don't have the right to store.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Changes and availability
We're always improving Tucked, so features may change. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important, for example by exporting reports.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It's permanently erased 60 days later unless you sign back in before then. If we ever discontinue Tucked, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export your information.
Limits of liability
Tucked is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Tucked isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app. Continuing to use Tucked after that means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Email hello@tucked.ca.
